Principal Function:
To produce menu items from an assigned station to the quality and specifications set forth by the Chef
Responsibilities:
- Prepares all items according to directions and specifications of Sous Chef and Executive Chef
- Maintains and ensures high standards in production of all items
- Keeps work area clean at all times and maintains proper standards of sanitation
- Assists in kitchen stocking, food storage and product organization
Requirements:
- Previous experience in the food industry
- Current Illinois sanitation certificate
- Understand and demonstrate fundamentals of cooking
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Must demonstrate excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to function well in high stress situations and treat fellow employees with respect
- Ability to work in a rapidly changing environment
- Dedicated to delivering exceptional customer service
