In 1993, the Colorado Rockies expanded its longtime commitment to the greater Denver metropolitan region and established the Colorado Rockies Charity Fund with the Robert R. McCormick Foundation.
The McCormick Foundation matches all donations to Colorado Rockies Charity Fund at fifty cents on the dollar. With the Colorado Rockies and the Foundation paying all campaign and administrative expenses, one hundred percent of all donations, plus the match is granted to qualified nonprofit organizations.
All organizations undergo a thorough screening during the grant application process to ensure that only high-quality programs with proven results receive funding.
Since inception, more than $19 million in grants has been distributed through the Colorado Rockies Charity Fund, a McCormick Foundation Fund improving the lives of those in need and transforming the community.
