Civics: Strengthen our civic education system to better facilitate informed and effective lifelong civic engagement.

Communities: Help low-income children, families and adults improve their lives and achieve self-sufficiency. Please note: Organizations must apply through one of our fund partners listed below

Education: Build a system of quality early care and education for children birth through third grade in Illinois. Please note: this program does not accept unsolicited applications or inquiries.

Journalism: Create an informed, news-literate and engaged citizenry through quality content, audience education and protection of press freedoms.

Veterans: Create welcoming and inclusive communities for those who served and their families where each is able to reach their maximum potential.
